**Mysuru, December 26, 2024** – Union Minister for Heavy Industries and Steel, H.D. Kumaraswamy, launched a scathing attack on Karnataka Home Minister G. Parameshwara, calling him a “rubber stamp” who is unaware of his department’s happenings. Kumaraswamy made the remarks to reporters in Mandya on Thursday, ahead of a District-level Development Coordination and Monitoring Committee review meeting.
His criticism stemmed from the state government’s handling of an incident involving Legislative Council member C.T. Ravi. While a police officer was suspended for allowing BJP leaders to meet Ravi at a police station, Kumaraswamy highlighted the lack of action against those who allegedly assaulted Ravi, causing head injuries. He directly accused Parameshwara of being clueless about the situation within his own department, stating that such a lack of oversight was unprecedented.
