Thu Dec 26 16:20:00 UTC 2024: ## Eagles Face Cowboys with Multiple Key Injuries Ahead of Crucial NFC East Showdown

**Philadelphia, PA** – The Philadelphia Eagles released their injury report Wednesday, revealing a significant number of players are banged up heading into Sunday’s pivotal NFC East matchup against the Dallas Cowboys. The game, at Lincoln Financial Field, could see the Eagles clinch the division title.

Star quarterback Jalen Hurts is in the concussion protocol after suffering the injury last week against Washington, and will not practice. Backup quarterback Kenny Pickett is also questionable, listed as limited due to injured ribs. Third-string quarterback Tanner McKee, however, stated he is prepared to step in if needed.

Other notable absences from practice would include linebacker Nakobe Dean (abdomen) and running back/return specialist Will Shipley (concussion protocol).

There is some positive injury news, however. Wide receiver Britain Covey (neck) and defensive end Bryce Huff (wrist) would have been full participants in practice, signifying their return from injury.

Several veteran players, including Saquon Barkley, Mekhi Becton, A.J. Brown, Landon Dickerson, Lane Johnson, Darius Slay, and Josh Sweat, were given rest days.

While the Eagles face a challenging injury situation, the team is focused on preparing for all scenarios against their rivals. A win or tie against Dallas would secure the NFC East title for Philadelphia.
