**New Delhi:** Delhiites woke up to another day of poor air quality on Wednesday, with the 24-hour Air Quality Index (AQI) reaching 336, categorized as “very poor.” This follows a “severe” rating on the previous day. The minimum temperature dipped to 8.4 degrees Celsius, 1.5 degrees below the seasonal average.
The India Meteorological Department (IMD) forecasts partly cloudy skies for Thursday, with a possibility of light rain in the evening. A dense fog is predicted for the mornings and late nights of December 25th, 26th, and 28th. The maximum and minimum temperatures are expected to be 23 and 7 degrees Celsius respectively. Wind speeds are predicted to be low, with potential for moderate to dense fog in various areas. The humidity levels are expected to remain high, ranging between 67% and 100%. The IMD also anticipates light to very light rain during the evenings and nights.
