**GURUGRAM, INDIA** – Popular radio jockey (RJ) and Instagram influencer Simran, 25, was found dead in her Gurugram apartment on Wednesday. Police confirmed that she died by suicide.
Simran, a resident of Nanak Nagar, Jammu, had worked with Radio Mirchi until 2021. After leaving the radio station, she pursued freelance work and created entertaining videos, garnering a large following on social media platforms, including over 600,000 followers on Instagram.
A friend residing with her alerted the police. Simran was initially taken to Park Hospital, where she was declared dead. A post-mortem was conducted at the district hospital before her body was released to her family. Gurugram police are investigating the incident.
