Tue Dec 24 19:55:12 UTC 2024: ## Thrissur Launches Legal Empowerment Project for Tribal Students
**KOCHI, December 25, 2024** – A new initiative, ‘Niyamagothram,’ aims to empower tribal children in Thrissur, Kerala, by preparing them for the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT). The project, a collaboration between the District Legal Services Authority (DLSA), Government Law College, and the Tribal Development department, selected its first 13 students from MRS Model School, Peechi. The program was officially launched by Saritha Raveendran, civil judge and secretary of DLSA. The initiative focuses particularly on students from Particularly Vulnerable Tribal Groups (PVTGs).
