**BISMARCK, ND** – Green Bay Packers tight end Tucker Kraft is showing his appreciation for his roots by highlighting the Cheyenne River Youth Project (CRY) through the NFL’s “My Cause, My Cleats” initiative. Kraft, who grew up on the Cheyenne River Sioux Reservation in Timber Lake, South Dakota, chose CRY to be featured on his cleats for two games this season.
Kraft expressed deep gratitude for the unwavering support he’s received from his community, stating that participating in the initiative is a way to give back. He recounted an emotional experience after a game against the Vikings, where he witnessed approximately 200 fans wearing his jersey number, showcasing the pride his hometown has in him.
Kraft and the Packers face the Saints in a Monday night game. The CRY, benefiting from this prominent display of support, provides vital services to youth on the reservation.
