Special trains for Maha Kumbh Mela from Visakhapatnam

**Visakhapatnam, December 24, 2024** – East Coast Railway (ECoR) will operate special trains from Visakhapatnam to Gorakpur and Deen Dayal Upadhyay to facilitate pilgrim travel to the Maha Kumbh Mela.

Two special express trains will run on specific dates in January and February 2025. The Visakhapatnam-Gorakpur train (08562) will depart Visakhapatnam on Sundays (January 5th, 19th, and 26th) and arrive in Gorakpur on Tuesdays. The return journey (08561) leaves Gorakpur on Wednesdays (January 8th, 22nd, and February 19th), arriving in Visakhapatnam on Fridays.

The Visakhapatnam-Deen Dayal Upadhyay train (08530) will depart Visakhapatnam on Thursdays (January 9th, 16th, 23rd, and February 6th, 20th, 27th), arriving in Deen Dayal Upadhyay on Saturdays. The return trip (08529) departs Deen Dayal Upadhyay on Saturdays (January 11th, 18th, 25th, and February 8th, 22nd, March 1st), reaching Visakhapatnam on Mondays.

Both trains will have similar coach compositions, including 3rd AC, 3rd AC Economy, Sleeper Class, General Second Class Sitting, a Second Class cum luggage/Disabled coach, and a Generator Motor Car.
