**NEW DELHI, December 20, 2024** – The Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs) have released the provisional answer key for the Junior Engineer (JE) Computer Based Test (CBT) 1, held from December 16-18, 2024. Candidates can now access the key on their respective RRB regional websites.
The 90-minute exam, comprising 100 questions, is the first stage in the recruitment process for 7,951 positions, including 7,934 Junior Engineer roles and others. Results will be normalized, with only those clearing the cutoff progressing to CBT 2. The final selection will also include Document Verification (DV) and a Medical Examination (ME).
Candidates can download the answer key by visiting their regional RRB website and following the instructions provided. Objections to the answer key can be submitted until December 28, 2024, at 11:55 PM. The answer key allows candidates to estimate their scores and prepare for the next stages of the recruitment process.
