**Chennai, December 24, 2024** – The Hindu announced the winners of its third annual Deepa Kolam Contest. Kavitha Ramakrishnan, Gayathri Perumal, and Saranya Vijay Rajan took home top prizes for their elaborate and elegant Deepa Kolam designs, created using earthen lamps for the Karthigai Deepam festival. The winners were selected based on the artistry and extravagance of their creations and were felicitated by representatives from Gopuram Products, ITC Mangaldeep, and The Hindu. Several participants also received consolation prizes. The contest, sponsored by Gopuram Products and co-powered by ITC Mangaldeep, with gifts provided by Aachi Masala, Medimix, and PS Tamarind, celebrated the traditional art form.
