**Hyderabad, December 24, 2024** – Congress MLC Chintapandu Naveen, also known as Theenmar Mallanna, has filed a police complaint against the cast and crew of the film *Pushpa 2*, alleging that the movie portrays police officers in a demeaning and disrespectful manner.
The complaint, filed with the Rachakonda Police on Monday, December 23rd, specifically cites scenes where police officers are depicted as corrupt and one scene where the protagonist urinates in a swimming pool in the presence of an IPS officer. Mr. Mallanna argues that these scenes are degrading to the police force and could erode public trust in law enforcement.
He has demanded that the offending scenes be removed from the film and that the actors, director, and producers face appropriate action. The complaint is currently under review by the Rachakonda Police.
