**GURUGRAM, India (December 24, 2024)** – Gurugram police announced the arrest of 21 cybercriminals accused of defrauding citizens nationwide of ₹125 crore. The arrests, made throughout November and December, followed an investigation using data from the Indian Cyber Crime Coordination Center (I4C).
According to ACP Priyanshu Dewan, the criminals posed as courier company officials to carry out their scams. Police recovered 16 mobile phones and seven SIM cards during the operation. The investigation is ongoing.
