**Agra, India –** A truck driver in Agra has been arrested after dragging two men for approximately 300 meters under his vehicle, police confirmed on Monday. The incident, which occurred around 11 pm Sunday, was captured on video and subsequently circulated on social media.
The two victims, residents of Nunhai, Agra, were traveling towards Rambagh from Waterworks when they were involved in an accident with the canter truck. Instead of stopping, the driver reportedly accelerated, trapping the men under the vehicle. A bystander, reportedly on a two-wheeler, filmed the victims’ desperate cries for help as they were dragged along the road.
Local residents intervened, forcibly stopping the truck and rescuing the injured men. Police arrived at the scene, arresting the driver and seizing the vehicle.
The two victims were transported to a nearby hospital for treatment and are reported to be in stable condition. Chhatta Police Station Inspector Pramod Kumar confirmed the details to the Press Trust of India (PTI). The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
