**Ahmedabad, India –** Anmolpreet Singh of Punjab etched his name in the record books on December 21st, smashing the third-fastest List A century in the Vijay Hazare Trophy. His breathtaking 115 runs came off just 45 balls, including 13 fours and nine sixes, propelling Punjab to a nine-wicket victory over Arunachal Pradesh.
Singh’s incredible innings, achieved while batting at number three, took only 35 balls to reach the century mark. This places him behind only Jake Fraser-McGurk (29 balls) and AB de Villiers (31 balls) in the all-time List A rankings. He came to the crease after the early dismissal of Punjab captain Abhishek Sharma.
