**Bengaluru, India** – Bajaj Auto has launched the upgraded Chetak 35 Series electric scooter, boasting improved safety features and technology. The series starts at ₹120,000 (ex-showroom, Bengaluru) and comes in three variants: 3501, 3502, and 3503. While details on the 3503 remain undisclosed, Bajaj has highlighted the differences between the top-spec 3501 and the more affordable 3502.

The flagship 3501 model (₹127,243 ex-showroom, Bengaluru) features a TFT touchscreen with integrated TecPac technology, allowing users to digitally store documents and manage calls. A key fob aids in locating the scooter. The 3502 variant offers a colored TFT display with turn-by-turn navigation and controls for calls, music, and notifications.

Both variants boast a claimed range of 153 km on a single charge and a top speed of 73 kmph, with Eco and Sport riding modes, hill hold, and reverse functionality. The key difference lies in charging: the 3501 boasts an onboard charger with a 0-80% charge time of 3 hours, while the 3502 utilizes an off-board charger taking 3 hours and 25 minutes. Both scooters feature a spacious 35-liter under-seat boot, Bajaj claims to be the largest in the electric two-wheeler segment.

Color options vary; the 3501 is available in five shades (Brooklyn Black, Pista Green, Hazel Nut, Indigo Metallic Blue, and Matte Red), while the 3502 offers four (Indigo Metallic, Brooklyn Black, Moon White, and Matte Coarse Grey). Bajaj asserts that the Chetak 35 Series represents the best iteration of the popular electric scooter to date.
