**Kolkata, India** – The Indian Institute of Management Calcutta (IIM Calcutta) released the results for the Common Admission Test (CAT) 2024 today. A remarkable 14 candidates achieved a perfect 100 percentile score. The high-achieving group includes 13 men and a significant number (13) with engineering backgrounds. Five of the perfect scorers hail from Maharashtra.

A press release from IIM Calcutta also revealed a noteworthy statistic: no candidates from Bihar achieved a percentile score above 99.88.

The CAT results announcement comes amidst other significant news from Bihar, including the release of the Bihar Board’s matriculation and intermediate examination datesheet for 2025 and relief offered to headmaster and head teacher applicants by the Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC), allowing for certificate re-uploads. Furthermore, Bihar is set to fill 24,811 secondary school teacher positions, with results expected within a week.
