**Pune, India** – Bajaj Auto has launched two new versions of its popular electric scooter, the Chetak, under the “35 series”. The Chetak 3501 and 3502 models offer enhanced features and competitive pricing, aiming to solidify Bajaj’s position in the burgeoning EV market.

The premium model, the Chetak 3501, is priced at ₹1.27 lakh (ex-showroom), while the Chetak 3502 is priced at ₹1.20 lakh (ex-showroom). Both models boast a 3.5 kWh battery and a 4 kW motor, offering a top speed of 73 kmph and a range of 153 km on a single charge. The battery can be fully charged in just 3 hours.

A significant upgrade is the inclusion of a larger 5-inch touch TFT display with navigation, call controls, and music controls. Safety features have also been enhanced with the addition of accident detection, overspeed alerts, geo-fencing, and theft alerts.

Bajaj claims the new Chetak EVs offer a compelling combination of affordability and advanced features, setting them apart from competitors. The company has already sold over 300,000 electric vehicles, capturing a 27% market share by December, and plans to further expand its EV portfolio in the future. This latest launch builds upon Bajaj’s ongoing commitment to innovation and expansion within the electric vehicle sector.
