**Vijayawada, December 20, 2024** – YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) president and former Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy has announced a series of statewide protests targeting the NDA government’s policies. Addressing party leaders in Anantapur district, Mr. Reddy cited growing public discontent with the ruling coalition’s performance over the past six months.

The protests will focus on key issues impacting the people of Andhra Pradesh. A significant demonstration is planned for December 27th to protest against recent electricity price hikes, involving the symbolic burning of electricity bills. Further action is scheduled for January 3rd to highlight the government’s alleged failure to reimburse ₹3,900 crore in pending education fees.

Mr. Reddy emphasized that these protests are not politically motivated but represent a commitment to supporting the people during challenging times.
