**Kolkata, India** – The Indian Institute of Management Calcutta (IIM Calcutta) has officially released the results for the Common Admission Test (CAT) 2024. Candidates can access their scores on the official website, iimcat.ac.in.
A total of 2.93 lakh candidates appeared for the exam, held on November 24th, 2024, across 389 test centers in 170 cities. The three-hour exam was divided into three sessions. The response sheets were released on November 29th, the provisional answer key on December 3rd, with the objection window closing on December 5th. The final answer key was released on December 17th.
This year’s results saw 14 candidates achieving a perfect 100 percentile score – 13 men and 1 woman. An additional 29 candidates scored 99.99 percentile, and 30 achieved 99.98 percentile. The category-wise breakdown of registered eligible candidates (3.29 lakh) and appeared candidates (2.93 lakh) is available on the official website.
The CAT 2024 scores will be utilized by IIMs and 91 other non-IIM institutions for admission to their management programs. Candidates are advised to verify that any institution they apply to using their CAT score is registered with the CAT 2024 center. IIMs will release their shortlists for subsequent admission processes based on CAT scores and other criteria. The scores are valid until December 31st, 2025.
