NEW DELHI – The Indian Institutes of Management (IIM) Kolkata announced the results of the Common Admission Test (CAT) 2024 on November 24th. Aspiring MBA students can now download their scorecards from the official website, iimcat.ac.in, using their application credentials. A notification was released late on November 23rd confirming the availability of the results.
A total of 14 candidates achieved a perfect 100 percentile score. Remarkably, 13 of these high achievers are from engineering backgrounds, with only one candidate from a non-engineering field. The top scorers comprised 13 men and one woman.
The results show a strong continued dominance of engineers. An additional 29 candidates scored 99.99 percentile, with 25 from engineering backgrounds and 4 from non-engineering fields. This group included 27 men and 2 women. Another 30 candidates achieved 99.98 percentile.
Geographic distribution of the top scorers reveals 5 from Maharashtra, 2 from Telangana, and one each from Uttar Pradesh, Delhi, Haryana, Madhya Pradesh, Odisha, Andhra Pradesh, and Kerala.
A total of 3.29 lakh candidates registered for the CAT 2024 exam, with 2.93 lakh appearing. To download the scorecard, candidates need to visit iimcat.ac.in, click on the login link, enter their user ID and password, and then download the scorecard for future reference.
