**Brisbane, Australia:** Ravindra Jadeja’s masterful 77-run knock spearheaded India’s fightback on day four of the third Border-Gavaskar Trophy Test against Australia. His performance, praised highly by teammate KL Rahul, helped India avoid a follow-on and keep the series alive.

India, facing a daunting task after Australia posted a substantial first innings total, found themselves in deep trouble early in their second innings. However, Rahul (84) and Jadeja combined in a crucial partnership, adding valuable runs to the scoreboard. Rahul lauded Jadeja’s “solid technique” and consistent performance batting lower down the order. Other notable contributions came from Jasprit Bumrah and Akash Deep, who added a crucial 39-run partnership late in the innings.

Despite the valiant effort, India ended the day at 252/9, still trailing by 193 runs. Australia, after winning the toss and electing to bat, amassed a strong 445 in their first innings thanks to centuries by Steve Smith (101) and Travis Head (152).
