**PUDUCHERRY, December 17, 2024** – Round Table India, in collaboration with Ladies Circle India and Equiniti India, distributed relief materials to 2,000 families impacted by recent floods in Puducherry’s Bahour taluk. Teams from Bengaluru, Chennai, and Puducherry participated in the initiative, focusing on families whose homes were severely damaged by Cyclone Fengal.
The relief effort included essential supplies such as rice and dry ration kits. Similar distributions also took place in Karaikal, another area significantly affected by the cyclone. N. Venkataramani, former Area II Chairman of Round Table India, highlighted the initiative’s focus on supporting marginalized groups, especially tribal communities, who have faced delays in recovering from the disaster.
