**New Orleans, LA** – Molly LeBlanc, a New Orleans administrative assistant and member of the Krewe des Fleurs, realized a lifelong dream Wednesday night, appearing as a contestant on Jeopardy!. While she ultimately lost to returning champion Bill McKinney, LeBlanc’s performance impressed viewers.
LeBlanc competed against McKinney and Sam Nguyen in a game featuring challenging categories such as “Political Oopsies” and “The Old Testament.” Despite answering the Final Jeopardy! clue correctly – a question about Marie Curie that some viewers deemed too easy – LeBlanc was unable to surpass McKinney, who increased his winnings to $18,800.
