**Belagavi, Karnataka – December 17, 2024** – Karnataka Soaps and Detergents Limited (KSDL) announced a record dividend payout of ₹108.62 crore to the Karnataka state government on Tuesday. This represents 30% of the company’s ₹362.07 crore profit for the fiscal year 2023-24, marking the highest dividend in KSDL’s history. An additional ₹5 crore was donated to the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund.

The dividend cheque was presented to Chief Minister Siddaramaiah by Minister for Large and Medium Industries M.B. Patil and KSDL Chairman Nada Gowda during a ceremony in Belagavi. Chief Minister Siddaramaiah praised KSDL’s consistent profitability since 2019-20, highlighting the significant increase from a ₹15.91 crore dividend five years ago. Minister Patil outlined the government’s plans to support KSDL’s expansion into international markets.
