**Washington, D.C. –** Former U.S. Representative Devin Nunes, CEO of Trump’s Truth Social media platform, has been appointed chairman of the President’s Intelligence Advisory Board by President Donald Trump. The announcement, made Saturday on Truth Social, sees Nunes adding this role to his current responsibilities.

Nunes, a staunch Trump supporter, previously chaired the House Intelligence Committee. During his tenure, he alleged FBI conspiracy against Trump during the investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 election. Trump cited Nunes’s experience in exposing what he termed the “Russia, Russia, Russia Hoax” as a key factor in the appointment. The President’s Intelligence Advisory Board provides independent assessments of U.S. intelligence agencies.

In other appointments, Trump named IBM executive and former Homeland Security official Troy Edgar as deputy secretary of Homeland Security and businessman Bill White as U.S. ambassador to Belgium.
