**Bengaluru, India** – Mumbai clinched their second Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy title on Sunday, defeating Madhya Pradesh by five wickets in a thrilling final at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium. Madhya Pradesh, led by Rajat Patidar, posted a challenging 174/8 in their 20 overs, with Patidar himself smashing an unbeaten 81 off 40 balls. His impressive innings included a half-century in just 28 deliveries. Mumbai’s Shardul Thakur and Royston Dias each claimed two wickets in a commendable bowling performance.

Mumbai’s chase was a rollercoaster. After losing early wickets, Suryakumar Yadav (48 runs off 35 balls) and Ajinkya Rahane (37 runs) steadied the ship.
