**Mangalore, December 15, 2024** – A new book on Jnanpith award-winning author U.R. Ananthamurthy will be launched on Monday at 10 a.m. at the Sarvodaya Hall, Gandhian Centre, MAHE, Manipal. Authored by acclaimed critic N. Manu Chakravarthy and published by Kendra Sahitya Akademi, the book will be released by Professor Phaniraj. Critic and writer Muralidhar Upadhya Hiriadka will preside over the function, and Varadesh Hiregange, Head of the Gandhian Centre for Philosophical Arts and Sciences, MAHE, will deliver a speech on the book. A Kendra Sahitya Akademi book exhibition will also be held at the venue.
