**Hyderabad, India** – Nikhil emerged victorious in the grand finale of Bigg Boss Telugu Season 8 on Sunday, concluding a 105-day run. The reality show’s winner claimed the coveted title, along with a cash prize of ₹55 lakh and a car. Actor Ram Charan Tej, who stepped in as chief guest at the last minute, presented Nikhil with the trophy. Gautam secured the runner-up position, receiving a cash prize of ₹25 lakh.

Avinash and Prerana were eliminated earlier in the evening, finishing in the top 5 and top 4 respectively. Kannada star Upendra and actress Pragnya Jaiswal escorted them from the house. The remaining top 3 contestants were offered a suitcase of money by host Nagarjuna, but all three refused. Following this, Nabil was eliminated and was seen off by actor Vijay Sethupathi.

Heavy police security was deployed at Annapurna Studios to ensure a smooth and incident-free finale. The security was overseen by West Zone DCP Vijay Kumar.

Initially, Allu Arjun was slated to be the chief guest, but due to his unexpected arrest, Ram Charan was contacted as a replacement. Ram Charan’s upcoming film, *Game Changer*, directed by Shankar and produced by Dil Raju, is scheduled for a worldwide release on January 10th, 2024, during Sankranti.
