HYDERABAD, INDIA – Nikhil, a Kannada actor known for his role in the Telugu serial “Gorintaku,” has been crowned the winner of Big Boss Telugu Season 8. The finale, which aired today after a 105-day run, saw a close competition between Nikhil and runner-up Gautam.
Twenty-two contestants participated in the season, with Nikhil, Gautam, Prerana, Nabil, and Avinash making it to the final week. While Gautam, a wildcard entrant, provided stiff competition and kept the race exciting until the very end, Nikhil ultimately secured the victory with a slightly higher number of votes.
Nikhil’s win earned him a prize of ₹55 lakhs and a Maruti Suzuki car. His father is a journalist, and he gained popularity among Telugu audiences through his role as Parthu in “Gorintaku.” His participation in Big Boss marked a significant step in his career.
