**MUMBAI, INDIA –** The Women’s Premier League (WPL) 2025 auction concluded today, resulting in a flurry of high-profile signings and some surprising omissions. While some players fetched record-breaking prices, several notable international stars remained unsold.

Among the biggest acquisitions, India U-19 opener G Kamalini sparked a fierce bidding war, while Prema Rawat joined Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) for a hefty 1.2 crore INR. Simran Shaikh went to the Gujarat Giants for 1.9 crore INR, and Deandra Dottin joined the same team for 1.7 crore INR. Nadine de Klerk was picked up by Mumbai Indians for 30 lakh INR.

New Zealand holds a commanding lead of 340 runs in one match, while Kathmandu secured a thrilling one-wicket victory and Hong Kong CC won comfortably. An Afghanistan team also secured a narrow win.
