**VISAKHAPATNAM, December 15, 2024** – The Indian Institute of Management, Visakhapatnam (IIM-V), launched its second Executive Master of Business Administration (EMBA) program intake on Sunday in an online ceremony. This winter intake aligns with the University Grants Commission’s (UGC) policy allowing twice-yearly admissions, aiming to increase accessibility for working professionals.

The program, chaired by Prof. Happy Paul, aims to meet the rising demand for flexible learning opportunities. This year’s 2024-26 cohort comprises 102 students from various industries, boasting an average work experience exceeding eight years and a 23% female representation. Prof. Prashant Premkumar Nair, IIM-V’s admission chair, presented the student profile.

IIM-V Dean of Academics, Prof. Vijaya Bhaskar Marisetty, highlighted the program’s role in addressing the evolving job market’s skill gap, emphasizing the shift from physical and human capital to information capital.
