**New Delhi, [Date]** – Fourteen long-pending reports from the Comptroller and Auditor General (CAG) have been approved by Delhi Lieutenant Governor VK Saxena for tabling in the Delhi Assembly. The reports, covering a range of topics including the Delhi Transport Corporation (DTC), public health, mohalla clinics, and state PSUs, were finally forwarded by the Delhi government’s finance ministry on December 11th and 12th, following a Delhi High Court hearing and pressure from the LG’s office.
According to officials in the LG’s office, the delay in submitting the reports, some dating back to August 2023, prompted intervention. Eleven of the reports relate to the period when Arvind Kejriwal served as Chief Minister. The reports allegedly detail failings within the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) government.
The LG’s office highlighted the significant delay, with one report pending for 497 days. The reports cover various areas, including vehicular air pollution, liquor regulation, and the financial accounts of the Delhi government.
The Delhi government has yet to announce a date for the next assembly session to present the reports. The AAP has not yet commented on the matter.
