**VELLORE, December 13, 2024** – Over 350 units of blood were donated by students of the Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT) at a blood donation camp held on Friday. The camp, organized by the VIT’s National Service Scheme (NSS) unit and Red Ribbon Club, was inaugurated by VIT founder and chancellor G. Viswanathan in memory of his wife, Rajeswari Viswanathan. The event was attended by VIT vice presidents Sankar Viswanathan and Sekar Viswanathan. Medical teams from several local hospitals, including Christian Medical College (CMC) and Government Medical College Hospital, assisted in the drive.
