**Jaipur, Rajasthan –** Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma announced significant investments in the state’s agricultural sector at a farmers’ conference in Ajmer on Friday. The event, part of the BJP government’s first-anniversary celebrations, saw the disbursement of ₹700 crore in Kisan Samman Nidhi to over 70 lakh farmers and ₹200 crore to 3.25 lakh cattle breeders.

Further initiatives included direct benefit transfers totaling ₹29 crore for irrigation equipment, ₹96 crore for farm improvements, and ₹80 crore for solar pump installations. Mr. Sharma also highlighted the signing of 2,500 MoUs for ₹58,000 crore in agricultural investments at the recent Rising Rajasthan Global Investment Summit.

Other key government measures mentioned by the Chief Minister included the distribution of ₹20,000 crore in short-term crop loans, the issuance of eight lakh soil health cards, the installation of 26,000 solar plants, and the establishment of food parks at 31 locations. The government also emphasized the purchase of wheat, moong, groundnut, and mustard at minimum support prices.

In addition to the financial aid, Mr. Sharma launched a new livestock insurance scheme, a camel conservation and development mission, and plans to install cow dung log machines in 100 gaushalas and establish 1,000 new milk collection centers with 200 new bulk milk coolers. The Chief Minister interacted with farmers via video conferencing to highlight the benefits of government subsidies. The event was attended by Deputy Chief Minister Diya Kumari and other state officials.
