**HYDERABAD, INDIA –** The Telugu-language action-comedy film “Mechanic Rocky,” starring Vishwak Sen and Meenakshi Chaudhary, will make its OTT debut on Amazon Prime Video on December 20, 2024. The film, which underperformed at the box office, grossing only ₹10.87 crore worldwide against a ₹20 crore budget, had a theatrical release on November 22nd.

“Mechanic Rocky,” the directorial debut of Ravi Teja Mullapudi, follows Vishwak Sen as a mechanic and driving school owner who finds himself embroiled in a conflict with a local don. The plot thickens when his father’s death and a mysterious insurance policy lead him on a quest to uncover the truth. The film also features Shraddha Srinath, Sunil, and others.

Despite a wide release on 1,000 screens globally, the film failed to attract a large audience, prompting its move to the streaming platform. Originally slated for a Diwali release on October 31st, the film’s theatrical debut was delayed until November.
