**CHENNAI, INDIA – DECEMBER 16, 2024** – Disney+ Hotstar has released the new Telugu web series, *Harikatha*, a mystery thriller starring Srikanth and Rajendra Prasad. The series, which premiered on December 13th, is set in a village where a series of seemingly divinely ordained punishments are meted out to murderers. A new police officer arrives to investigate these strange events, uncovering a complex plot filled with twists and turns.

The show features a large ensemble cast including Mounika Reddy, Divi Vadhata, and Pujitha Ponnada, and is directed by Maggi, with cinematography by Vijay Ulaganath and music by Suresh Bobbili. The series weaves in Bhagavad Gita hymns into its narrative, adding a unique spiritual element to the mystery.
