**New Delhi, December 9, 2024** – Xiaomi launched its highly anticipated Redmi Note 14 series today, featuring three models: the Redmi Note 14, Redmi Note 14 Pro, and Redmi Note 14 Pro+. The series boasts significant upgrades, including a groundbreaking 6,200mAh EV-grade battery (in the Pro+ model), dual-sided Corning Gorilla Glass protection, and the Android 15-based Xiaomi HyperOS 2 with extensive AI capabilities.
The flagship Redmi Note 14 Pro+ stands out with its massive battery, promising up to 1600 charging cycles before reaching 80% capacity. Its 6.67-inch 1.5K AMOLED display boasts a 120Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 3,000 nits. Other features include Dolby Atmos dual stereo speakers, a Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 chip, and a robust IP66+IP68+IP69 rating for water and dust resistance. The camera system features a 50MP primary lens with a Xiaomi custom Light Hunter 800 sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide lens, and a 50MP telephoto lens with 2.5x optical zoom. AI-powered editing features like AI Image Expansion and AI Erase Pro are also included. The Redmi Note 14 Pro+ is priced starting at Rs 29,999.
The Redmi Note 14 Pro shares the 6.67-inch 1.5K AMOLED display and impressive brightness of its sibling, along with Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection and an IP68+IP69 rating. Sporting a vegan leather finish, it features a 50MP Sony IMX600 main camera, an 8MP ultra-wide lens, and a 2MP macro lens. Powered by a 5,500mAh battery with 45W fast charging, it will also receive over 18 AI features via monthly updates. The Redmi Note 14 Pro starts at Rs 23,999.
The entry-level Redmi Note 14 5G includes an in-display fingerprint sensor, a 6.67-inch display with 2100 nits peak brightness and a 120Hz refresh rate, and a 5110mAh battery with 45W fast charging. Select AI features are also incorporated. The Redmi Note 14 5G is priced from Rs 17,999.
Beyond smartphones, Xiaomi also launched the Xiaomi Sound Outdoor smart speaker (Rs 3,499), Redmi Buds 6 earbuds (Rs 2,799), and an ultra-slim 4,900mAh power bank (Rs 1,799, with crowdfunding early bird price of Rs 1,499). All new products will be available from December 13th. Xiaomi India president Muralikrishnan B highlighted the company’s contribution to India’s digital revolution, noting the shipment of over 250 million smartphones and 350 million other devices in the past decade. He also reiterated his previously announced departure by the end of 2024.
