Mon Dec 09 19:17:29 UTC 2024: ## UPSC Releases Civil Services Mains Exam Results; Interview Stage Begins

**New Delhi, December 9, 2024** – The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has announced the results for the Civil Services Main Examination (CSE) 2024. Candidates who appeared for the exam can check their results on the official UPSC websites, upsc.gov.in and upsconline.nic.in.

Successful candidates will now proceed to the interview stage. The final selection process will fill approximately 1000 positions across various services, including the Indian Administrative Service (IAS), Indian Police Service (IPS), and Indian Foreign Service (IFS).

The UPSC Civil Services Examination is a three-stage process: Preliminary, Main, and Interview. The Preliminary exam was held on June 16, 2024, and the Main exam was conducted from September 20-29, 2024.

Candidates who cleared the Mains exam are required to fill and submit their Detailed Application Form-II (DAF-II) between December 13 and 19, 2024. Those availing reservations (SC/ST/OBC/EWS/PwBD/Ex-servicemen) must also submit original certificates issued before March 6, 2024 (the last date for the Preliminary exam application).

Marksheets will be uploaded on the UPSC website within 15 days of the final result declaration and will remain available for 30 days. For more details, candidates can visit upsc.gov.in.
