**New Delhi:** The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) today announced the results of the Civil Services (Mains) Examination 2024. Candidates can check their results on the official UPSC website, upsc.gov.in.

Those who cleared the Mains examination will now proceed to the next stage: the personality test, or interview. The UPSC CSE is conducted in three stages: preliminary, main, and interview. The preliminary examination was held on June 16th, 2024, followed by the main examination on September 20th, 21st, 22nd, 28th, and 29th, 2024. The dates for the interviews have not yet been announced but will be released soon on the UPSC website.

The UPSC also released a list of shortlisted candidates. Candidates can access their results by following these steps:

1. Visit the official UPSC website: upsc.gov.in.
2. On the homepage, under ‘What’s News’, click on the link for the written result: Civil Services (Mains) Examination 2024.
3. A new page with a PDF file will appear on the screen.
4. Candidates can find their names and roll numbers.
5. Download and print the result for future reference.

The commission stated in a press release that all successful candidates must submit academic documents, documents related to Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) or other reservation categories, disability certificates, age proof, and other relevant documents.
