**New Delhi:** The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has declared the results of the Civil Services (Mains) Examination, 2024. Candidates who appeared for the exam can check their results on the official UPSC website, upsc.gov.in.

Those who cleared the Mains examination will now proceed to the next stage: the personality test, or interview. The UPSC CSE is conducted in three stages: preliminary, main, and interview. The preliminary examination was held on June 16th, 2024, followed by the Mains examination on September 20th, 21st, 22nd, 28th, and 29th, 2024. The dates for the interviews have not yet been announced but will be released soon on the UPSC website.

The UPSC has also released a list of shortlisted candidates. Successful candidates can access their results by following these steps:

1. Visit the official UPSC website: upsc.gov.in.
2. Navigate to ‘What’s New’ on the homepage and click on the link for the written result: Civil Services (Mains) Examination 2024.
3. A new page displaying a PDF file will appear.
4. Candidates can find their names and roll numbers in the PDF.
5. Download and print the result for future reference.

The commission has advised all successful candidates to keep their educational documents, and any documents related to economically weaker sections, reservations, disability, age, and other relevant categories readily available. These will be required for further processing.
