**Madison, WI** – Dashcam video has surfaced showing the arrest of former NFL head coach Jack Del Rio for operating a vehicle while intoxicated (OWI) in Madison, Wisconsin last November. The 61-year-old, who was serving as a senior advisor for the University of Wisconsin football team at the time, allegedly struck a street sign and a residential fence before being apprehended.

The footage, obtained by TMZ Sports, depicts Del Rio moaning in pain and repeatedly requesting to use the restroom while in the back of a police car. He refused a breathalyzer test, and police obtained a warrant for a blood test. Del Rio also complained of arm pain while exiting the vehicle.

Following the arrest, University of Wisconsin head coach Luke Fickell announced Del Rio’s resignation from his advisory role. Fickell stated that Del Rio would take full responsibility for his actions and that the team would move forward.

Del Rio had a distinguished NFL career as a linebacker before transitioning into coaching. He served as head coach for the Jacksonville Jaguars and the Oakland Raiders, and more recently was defensive coordinator for the Washington Commanders.
