**Dubai, UAE** – Bangladesh successfully defended their U19 Men’s Asia Cup title with a convincing 59-run victory over eight-time champions India in the final at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium on Sunday. This is Bangladesh’s second consecutive Asia Cup triumph, following their inaugural win last year.

Batting first, Bangladesh posted a respectable 198 in 49.1 overs. Rizan Hossain top-scored with 47 runs, while Mohammad Shihab James (40) and Farid Hasan (39) also contributed significantly. India’s bowling attack, featuring Yudhajit Guha, Chetan Sharma, Hardik Raj, Kiran Chormale, KP Karthikeya, and Ayush Mhatre, managed only six wickets.

India’s chase never gained momentum. Despite starts from Andre Siddarth (20), Karthikeya (21), and captain Mohamed Amaan (26), they were consistently pegged back by the Bangladesh bowlers. Iqbal Hossain Emon was particularly effective, claiming 3 wickets for 24 runs. Ultimately, India were bowled out for 139 in 35.2 overs, handing Bangladesh a comfortable victory and securing their second consecutive U19 Asia Cup title. Hardik Raj’s 24 runs off 21 balls proved to be a mere consolation for the losing side.
