Tue Dec 10 00:49:37 UTC 2024: ## Asia-Pacific Mid-Market Firms Embrace AI, but Face Hurdles

**Singapore, [Date]** – A new report from Avanade reveals that mid-sized businesses in the Asia-Pacific region are aggressively adopting artificial intelligence (AI), with many expecting a fourfold return on investment within a year. However, the report, “Avanade Trendlines: AI Value Report 2025,” cautions that significant challenges remain.

Based on a survey of 4,100 global business and IT decision-makers, the report highlights that a lack of workforce preparedness, insufficient data governance, and inadequate technology infrastructure are major obstacles to realizing the full potential of AI. Concerns regarding data security and the stability of existing technology systems were also prevalent.

To help overcome these hurdles, Avanade has launched seven new AI services tailored for mid-market organizations in the Asia-Pacific region. These services leverage Microsoft’s AI platforms and combine Avanade’s industry and technical expertise to provide enterprise-grade AI solutions at a scale appropriate for mid-sized businesses.

Bhavya Kapoor, Avanade’s President for Asia Pacific, stated, “The Asia-Pacific region is poised for significant growth, and AI is a key driver. Mid-market companies here are at a crucial point in their transformation, and we’re committed to helping them navigate the challenges and harness the immense opportunities of AI.”
