Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh – Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu has appointed Janasena Party leader and prominent Telugu film actor Naga Babu, brother of Janasena chief Pawan Kalyan, as a minister in the state cabinet. This brings the total number of ministers to 25, filling one of the remaining vacancies in the 25-member cabinet. Naga Babu currently serves as the general secretary of the Janasena Party. This appointment is part of the coalition agreement between the ruling TDP and the Janasena.

**Three Rajya Sabha Nominees Finalized**

In related news, the TDP-BJP alliance has finalized its nominees for the three vacant Rajya Sabha seats from Andhra Pradesh. The TDP has nominated Sana Satish and Bida Mastan Rao, while the BJP has nominated R. Krishnaiah. Mastan Rao, a businessman and former YSRCP member, recently joined the TDP. Sana Satish, who earlier aspired for a Lok Sabha seat, has been given the Rajya Sabha nomination. The inclusion of R. Krishnaiah aims to represent the BC community and strengthen the BJP’s presence in the state. The nominations are expected to be unopposed.
