MUMBAI, INDIA – A speeding BEST bus ran over pedestrians in Kurla, Mumbai, on Monday night, killing three and injuring at least 22 others. The incident occurred around 10 PM on LBS Road near Ambedkar Nagar, Kurla West railway station. Eyewitnesses reported the bus, route number 332 traveling from Kurla station to Andheri, plowed through a crowd of approximately 30 people.
Three victims died at the scene, while the injured were rushed to Sion and Kurla Bhaba hospitals. Four remain in critical condition.
