**New Delhi, December 9, 2024** – The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) announced the results of the Civil Services (Main) Examination 2024 this evening. The results, for the examination held from September 20th to 29th, determine which candidates will proceed to the personality test (interview) stage. A list of hall ticket numbers of those eligible for the interview has been released on the UPSC website.

The examination was conducted to fill 1056 vacancies across various All India Services, including IAS, IFS, IPS, and other central Group A and Group B services. The preliminary examination was held on June 16th, with results declared on July 1st.

Successful candidates will now participate in the upcoming interview round. The final selection will be based on their performance in both the main examination and the interview.
