**Belagavi, Karnataka – December 10, 2024** – Forty students were injured Monday when their school bus overturned near Ganesh Gudi Forest in Joida taluk, Uttara Kannada district, Karnataka. The students, from St. Anthony High School in Chitradurga district, were on a school excursion and traveling in three buses when one veered off the road. Police reports indicate the driver lost control of the vehicle.
Local residents and police assisted in rescuing the students, all of whom were transported to the Government Hospital in Dandeli. Authorities confirmed that all injured students are out of danger.
