Mon Dec 09 13:48:40 UTC 2024: **Former AI Engineer Achieves IFS Success After UPSC Setbacks**

Jaipur, Rajasthan – Ankan Bohra, a former AI engineer at Samsung, has achieved his lifelong dream of joining the Indian civil services, securing the 14th All-India rank in the Indian Forest Service (IFS) examination. His journey, however, was not without its challenges.

Bohra, a seven-time gold medalist from BHU, left a high-paying corporate job earning over ₹30 lakh annually to pursue his ambition. Despite his academic excellence and initial confidence, he faced two consecutive failures in the UPSC Civil Services Examination, failing to clear the interview rounds. This led to a period of discouragement.

However, Bohra persevered. He dedicated himself intensely to his preparation in the mere 16 days between the UPSC results and his IFS interview. This focused effort ultimately led to his success. He credits his success to rigorous self-study, including detailed note-making, consistent revision (twice daily), and a focus on previous years’ question papers, along with maintaining his fitness through daily jogging. He relied on online resources and guidance from senior officials, foregoing coaching classes.

Bohra, a resident of Nimbahera, Chittorgarh district, Rajasthan, is the only child of a college principal and a homemaker. His story serves as an inspiration to aspiring civil servants, showcasing the importance of resilience and perseverance in the face of adversity.
