Sun Dec 08 09:30:00 UTC 2024: ## Encino Lottery Winner Has Hours Left to Claim $100 Million

**Los Angeles, CA** – Time is running out for a lucky Encino resident to claim a $100 million Mega Millions lottery prize. The winning ticket, purchased at a Chevron gas station on Ventura Boulevard on December 8, 2023, expires today, December 7, 2024.

The ticket, one of two sold at the same location that day, matched all six numbers (21, 26, 53, 66, 70, and 13), splitting a $395 million jackpot. While one winner has already claimed their share, the second remains unclaimed.

California Lottery spokesperson Carolyn Becker urged the anonymous winner to come forward before the deadline. “We have no way of knowing who has the second jackpot-winning ticket,” Becker stated in a press release. She added that while missing out on the prize would be unfortunate, unclaimed funds ultimately benefit California’s public education system.

Potential winners are advised to bring their ticket and a completed claim form to one of the California Lottery’s nine district offices or mail them via certified mail to the lottery headquarters, ensuring the postmark is dated on or before December 7th. A copy of all submitted materials should be retained.
