**Vellore, December 7, 2024** – Tamil Nadu Deputy Chief Minister Udhayanidhi Stalin subtly dismissed actor Vijay’s prediction that the DMK will not return to power in 2026, stating he doesn’t follow film news. This comment came during a Vellore visit where he launched the book “Ellarukumana Thalaivar Ambedkar,” published by Vikatan Publications in collaboration with the political consultancy firm Voice of Commons.
Stalin also addressed VCK deputy general secretary Aadhav Arjuna’s claim that Tamil Nadu remains under dynastic rule. He refuted this, asserting that Chief Ministers are elected, not born into the position.
During his visit, Stalin distributed sports kits, inaugurated a restored pond, a bus terminus, and an upgraded healthcare center, before returning to Chennai.
