**Hyderabad, India** – Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC) has announced the launch of its Golden Jubilee Scholarship Scheme 2024, aimed at supporting meritorious students from economically disadvantaged families. The scheme will provide financial assistance to students pursuing higher education.
The scholarship is open to students who completed their 10th, Intermediate, Diploma, or equivalent in the academic years 2021-22, 2022-23, and 2023-24, with a minimum of 60% marks or CGPA from a recognized institution. Applicants must be pursuing or intending to pursue higher education in 2024-25 in fields such as medicine, engineering, graduation, diploma, vocational courses, or ITI.
A special scholarship for girl students offers two years of financial support for those who completed 10th grade and are pursuing Intermediate, 10+2, or a diploma course.
Applications will be accepted online through the official LIC website, http://www.licindia.in, from December 8th, 2024, to December 22nd, 2024.
